021.6 Bibliotheksservice-Zentrum Baden Wurttemberg Detailed information on this extensive library network of over 400 libraries. Information on the network and its activities are provided (in German), mainly in the area of networking, cooperative cataloguing and access.

021.6 BIBSYS A shared library system for all Norwegian University Libraries, the National Library and a number of research libraries. The BIBSYS database is searchable and includes around 1.8 million records.

021 CALIM: Consortium of Academic Libraries in Manchester A consortium established in 1992 to develop co-operative information services in support of teaching and research in the five member institutions; University of Manchester, UMIST, Manchester Business School, Manchester Metropolitan University and University of Salford. Resources include the CALIM Union List of Serials and CALCATS multiple catalogue searcher.

021 Co-operation: British Library Provides information about the British Library’s Co-operation and Partnership Programme which encourages library and information service collaboration in the areas of collection development, preservation and retention, access, bibliographic services, and record creation. Offers an FAQ section, and details of events and publications.

021 International Coalition of Library Consortia Information on the library coalition serving US higher education institutions by facilitating discussion on issues such as new electronic information resources and pricing practices of electronic providers. Offers full text documents, press releases and consortia listings.

021.6 LINNEA Palvelut National information network for libraries in Finland. Information available in Finnish and English.

021.6 M25 Consortium of Higher Education Libraries Represents about 125 libraries in the London area belonging to 38 colleges and universities. Possible to search their online catalogues, discover which M25 libraries have collections in a particular subject area and the location and opening hours of any M25 library.

021.6 METROWeb The New York Metropolitan Reference and Research Library Agency (METRO) is a not-for-profit library cooperative which promotes resource sharing among member libraries.

021.6 PORTALS An organisation of public and private institutions committed to working cooperatively to expand and enrich the information resources and services necessary for the scholarly and wider community around the Portland area.

021.6 VIVA: Virtual Library of Virginia A consortium of academic libraries in Virginia (US) aiming to create a network of shared electronic resources within Virginia for students and faculty to facilitate cooperation among its members.

021.6 Washington Research Library Consortium Regional library cooperative established in 1987 to support the information and research needs of seven universities in the Washington DC metropolitan area. A voluntary alliance which grew out of a long history of inter-library cooperation among the academic libraries in this area.
